Two Page Tuesday: One Page + Grid

My event scrapbook pages typically include lots of photos, so a two-page scrapbook layout is my best option. My layout strategy: use a design I typically scrap for a single page and mix it with a grid design on the facing page. Such an easy way to scrap eleven photos!

This page is about our nephew's high school graduation party. The two portrait style photos of him serve as the focal point, supported by a grid of candid shots from the party on the opposite page. I united the two sides of the layout by running strips of patterned paper along the top and bottom border of both pages, and repeating flair, enamel triangles and wood flags on both pages.

  1. Thanks for sharing your example of a two page layout. Makes it seem very do able to this grid and two page layout challenged scrapper. Love your careful and deliberate placement of your embellishments too. Michelle t

  3. I really like that your two-page spreads are such natural extensions of your single page style.

  4. I love how this spread came out. Having the larger photo sets the stage for the collage page.
