Two Page Tuesday: Grid Design

I love a good grid foundation, so why not double the fun and use it on a two-page scrapbook layout? That's exactly what I did on a recent Creative Team assignment for Get It Scrapped! This page is about teaching Silhouette classes at my local scrapbook store.

Collection Featured: Basic Grey Highline
I think establishing a pleasing flow is the key to a successful two-page grid design. It's as easy as one, two, three.

  1. The photos are positioned so no one is looking off the page.
  2. The title and journaling create a diagonal flow from upper left to lower right, spanning both pages.
  3. The embellishments flow in a zig zag fashion to keep the eye moving up and down both rows in the grid.

You can see what the rest of the team did with this challenge in the full article.

Check out the Get It Scrapped Membership! It combines Masterful Scrapbook Design's magazine format and live design conversations with the hands-on video tutorials of Scrapbook Coach in one all-access pass. 2. Hey Sue! :) You know how I love a good grid! This is a great way to get a several photos on the page but still leaves room for embellishing. That paper is so fun -- love the bright colors!
