The horizontal part of the cross houses candid shots playfully arranged, while the vertical contains the focal point photo, title and journaling. This is an easy way to organize the page!
Another tip to create interest is to use two different backgrounds for each side of the layout. On my layout, placing kraft elements on the white side and white elements on the kraft side creates flow and continuity.
