Inspired By…Black, White & Beige

The challenge from Get It Scrapped!: Make a page that is BLACK and WHITE and BEIGE. Use only those three tones/neutrals on the page.

My page is about visiting an exhibit of Legos with our adult son. The challenge of working with these colors was lessened considerably because my photos were already within the palette. These cosmopolitan Lego landmark buildings call for a sophisticated treatment, which this classic color combination provides.

I cut the title with my Silhouette, using the Calendary Hands font. Isn't it a wonderful script font? I also made a process video that you can watch here or on my YouTube channel. You can see what the rest of the design team did with this challenge right here.

  1. Aren't those Lego buildings amazing? Great layout. Fun, but the journaling makes it thoughtful too. Michelle t
