Inspired By...Frida Kahlo

My assignment from Get It Scrapped!: Fashion, photography and other industries are turning to Mexican icon Frida Kahlo as inspiration for aesthetic endeavors. Make a page with inspiration taken from at least one aspect of Frida Kahlo's style and art.

Thanks go to Pinterest for their help on this one. I linked to my search results so you can see what I found. Very inspiring!

This page is about being in the right place at the right time to capture a great shot. I was inspired by Frida Kahlo's motifs and colors. Her use of bold florals, mosaic patterns and the vibrant colors of Mexico are all incorporated into my layout.

You can see what the rest of the design team created in the article here. There is also a new, fantastic resource of 500+ organized scrapbooking ideas. I've got this page bookmarked!

Current Issue: Tension

  1. Such a bright, cheerful page. Love the colors you have chosen.

  2. So pretty and vibrant, Sue. Love this!
