My Scrapbook Process: Snuggle & Separate

My assignment from Get It Scrapped!: Make a page that uses a snuggle and separate design scheme. Debbie wrote about this idea in her class Tension, Story, Focus and FlowMy page is about the breathtaking fall colors along the shores of Lake Michigan.

First I divided my canvas by thirds and added a border. A larger block of photos is snuggled in the lower left hand corner. I still have plenty of room to work!

A slightly smaller grouping on the right hand side contains the title and journaling. By positioning it a little higher than the photos, I was able to use the border to give "Autumn" a resting place.

Here is my finished page. The two groups are united by a visual triangle of embellishments.

You can see what the rest of the design team created in the article here. There is also a new, fantastic resource of 500+ organized scrapbooking ideas. I've got this page bookmarked!
