My page is about getting a new bicycle for my 7th birthday and again on my 50th birthday. I originally created this layout awhile back, but never really liked it. Perfect opportunity for a re-do!

I challenged myself to use 3 different materials for the title. The twine, Silhouette die cut and Thickers are a fun and eye-catching combination!
Adorable! Love the comparison photo's!
ReplyDeleteAwesome~love the twine letters like that. Gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome re-do on your page, Sue. Love the way you used the older and newer photo together and the twine in your title looks great!
ReplyDeleteI love the redo and your use of the older and newer photo (notice I didn't say old, LOL!) The twine title is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI haven't redone a page yet, but I may just have to give it a try!
ReplyDeleteI love your redo.
And I love all the fabulous things you did with the twine.
Pinning :)
totally love the redo!!!!!
ReplyDeletei have never redone a layout- not enough time!
I've only ever re-done one scrapbook layout because I didn't like the way the paint came out. My philosophy is that when I get everything scrapped that's on my to-scrap list, then I'll go back for re-dos. (Obviously that's not going to happen! LOL)
ReplyDeleteThe redo is fabulous, but I also think the original is wonderful. I always love comparison stories and photos! Well done!
ReplyDeleteThe redo is gorgeous
ReplyDeleteGreat redo! I like the quadrant arrangement and love what you did with twine. It's wonderful you have both of these photos to tell the story.
ReplyDeleteYour first LO was nice but I like your make over.
ReplyDeleteYup .. I love your redo!!! Its beautiful!... hugs...x
ReplyDeleteGreat redo Sue! I love the addition of the twine for the title and to frame your page!
ReplyDeleteFab redo Sue! Although that floral paper on the original has always been a fave of mine - Cosmo, isn't it? While it is fun to see how our styles evolve, I don't want to go down the road of redoing too many - not even on a bike!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I love everything about it!
ReplyDeleteI love both layouts!! Such a great story to scrap! I have never re done a layout but there are many I want to :) Thanx for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteLove the re-do - especially the twine frame! x
ReplyDeleteI love the second one, great grid design. love how you added the twine and other strips. really cool using both photos.
ReplyDeleteLove the rod, the twine border is so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteLove your redo Susan and your beautiful cruiser!!! That was my favorite color blue as a young girl back in the 50s! Great variety of embellishments to help tell your wonderful story!
