To create this 2-page layout, I arranged the photos and journaling on the first page, then flipped the design for the second page.

I used my Silhouette to cut this kite border. On a layout with this many photos, I tend to go light on the patterned paper and embellishments.
You can see more 7-photo layouts in the article here. Are you a multi-photo scrapper? What are the challenges you face when using multiple photos on a scrapbook page? (perhaps I could address some of your concerns in a future blog post...)
The little kite cutouts are perfect. I bet you are enjoying your Silhouette. This would be a wonderful layout for a Project Life/365 week with the 7 photos. Thanks for sharing your process!

ReplyDeleteLove it Sue!! The photo design is great and I love that you kept the embellishments on the simple side. That kite border is just too cute!
ReplyDeleteSeven photos? wow, that would be a challenge for me - you are one talented multi photo scrapper! Your page about kites has got me thinking too. My Mum taught me to fly a kite when I was little, so I taught my kids and they still talk about the day we did it. Funny the things that make an impression, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Sue! I love the look of your blog plans for 2013
Those kite cutouts just make such a wonderful addition. Love that you got so many pics on.
ReplyDeleteGreat layout & it looks like a fun kite-flying day! As you know, I like to use lots of photos on my pages. I've often flipped the layout for the second page, too.
