Scrapping Older Photos

Scrapping older photos can be a challenge, especially when you don't have clear memories about the pictures. Here's how I solved that problem.

This photo, taken back in 1964, inspired me to tell the story of the birth of my brother. I honestly don't remember what it was like adjusting to a sibling, but my mother recorded the story in my baby book. I used her words on my journaling strips.

  4. I just love pages with old photos - they are definitely my favourite because of the way you can build up the atmosphere on the layout. This is a fine example of what I mean! Love it.

  12. How awesome of your mom to record those details. Its great you had something to look to. My mom lost all our family photos from water damage. They were stored in boxes in a garage during a transition move. We pretty much lost everything prior to my marriage...boohoo
