Simple Scrapper September Blog Hop

Welcome to the Simple Scrappers September Blog Hop! Today the design team is featuring layouts made with the September collection of sketch templates, which are available to premium members of Simple Scrapper. You can win a one-month trial subscription; details will be at the end of this post. But first, here are my layouts!

Am I the only one using my iPhone for everything else, but only rarely as a phone? Please say I'm not alone! The patterned paper and brads on this layout come from My Mind's Eye.

The title uses Thickers (of course) and Jillibean Soup Alphabeans.

My grandfather loved to go hunting and always kept a kennel of hunting dogs behind their house. My journaling says the dogs were never allowed in the house, which is true. However, prize-winning dogs were allowed in the basement briefly to have their picture taken!

Supply List:
Patterned Paper: Echo Park Everyday Eclectic
Alphabets: American Crafts, October Afternoon
Mask and Mist: Studio Calico
Cloud Punches: Fiskars
Buttons: My Mind's Eye Funday
Washi Tape: Freckled Fawn

Here's the blog hop list so you can enjoy more inspiration from the rest of the Design Team. They are a talented group of scrappers!

Sue Althouse - that's me!

  1. I absolutely love that contrats between the black and white photos and the old coloured one; and the way you have pulled the colours out for your page. It's ingenious and effective. Very.

  2. Love these layouts. The misting in the second layout works very well, and now I am also inspired to get out my cloud punches to use on a layout. Thanks for the inspiration!

  18. Fabulous layouts! Love the misting on the coon dog layout. And great technology layout too. I do not use my iPhone for the phone all that much. I am just not that attached to phones but I sure do like having that device with me to listen to podcasts in the car, to check amazon prices when I'm at Target and contemplating whether to buy or order, to bring up a map when I'm not sure where I'm going, to check the news when I'm standing in line at the grocery store, to play a game or two when I have a few minutes.... So no, you are not alone! :)
