The title uses Thickers (of course) and Jillibean Soup Alphabeans.
My grandfather loved to go hunting and always kept a kennel of hunting dogs behind their house. My journaling says the dogs were never allowed in the house, which is true. However, prize-winning dogs were allowed in the basement briefly to have their picture taken!
Supply List:
Patterned Paper: Echo Park Everyday Eclectic
Alphabets: American Crafts, October Afternoon
Mask and Mist: Studio Calico
Cloud Punches: Fiskars
Buttons: My Mind's Eye Funday

I absolutely love that contrats between the black and white photos and the old coloured one; and the way you have pulled the colours out for your page. It's ingenious and effective. Very.
ReplyDeleteLove these layouts. The misting in the second layout works very well, and now I am also inspired to get out my cloud punches to use on a layout. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteGreat layouts, Sue!
ReplyDeleteAnd no, you are not alone.
I play games on my phone a lot! :)
Love all the great dimension on your vintage layout. Wonderful to capture the interests of your grandparents for you and for your children to remember.
ReplyDeleteLove the close up pictures you've include to show the dimension on your page.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pages Sue!!! You always have such awesome designs for your pages!! Love the MME on your first one and the misted chevron on your second one is awesome! I just ordered that mask on Saturday, so I am hoping it comes this week!
ReplyDeleteGreat pages!
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone! I rarely use my iPhone for actually making calls.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful layouts! I love the misted chevrons on the second one!
ReplyDeletethat first layout is perfect and so current. I use my phone for EVERYTHING except for talking: banking, texting, social media, blogging, weather, music, etc, etc. :) your layout has inspired me to document this.
ReplyDeleteLove your layouts today!! Especially reference to the fact that your phone is so much more than a phone!! LoL!!! Whether it's an i phone or android....I think we are all in the same boat!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your layouts. The vintage look of the old photos with the one color photo is fabulous. And, no, you're not the only one that uses their iPhone for everything but phone calls. LOL!
ReplyDeleteThese are great!!! Fabulous work! :)
ReplyDeleteFun content on the first layout. Love the bright colors and journaling. The second layout is so cool how you used the color photo with the black and white. You always have such clean designs that inspire me!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the first one!! They are all great, but the lettering and Words-with-Friends really wins in my book. Gosh, I love those colors and the subtle stitching!
ReplyDeleteLove your layouts--especially the color scheme in the first one!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the dimension and detail you've added to each one of these pages Sue!
ReplyDeletegreat lo's! you dated the iphone layout with my bday!
ReplyDeletealso love those coon dogs!
Fabulous layouts! Love the misting on the coon dog layout. And great technology layout too. I do not use my iPhone for the phone all that much. I am just not that attached to phones but I sure do like having that device with me to listen to podcasts in the car, to check amazon prices when I'm at Target and contemplating whether to buy or order, to bring up a map when I'm not sure where I'm going, to check the news when I'm standing in line at the grocery store, to play a game or two when I have a few minutes.... So no, you are not alone! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat layouts. I always use my iphone the most to listen to Paperclipping Podcasts. Keeps me going when I am doing yard work, housework, etc.
ReplyDeleteI'm like you! The phone in my phone is rarely used! I love using it for photos :)
ReplyDeleteYour other layout really appeals to me. Great use of color :)
Both layout are stunning neat and great colors Sue... HUgs...xoxo
ReplyDeleteFab pages - I'd never have combined b&w and aged colour on a page but you've really made it work!
