I should call this Two-Page Tuesday post the "minimalist edition", because I used a sketch, but only for the photo placement! There is enough color in the photos for my taste, so all I added were slim patterned paper strips, wavy border stickers, the title, journaling strips, three stars, a few buttons and a banner. The color palette is limited to a few blues and a pop of red.

This might be the least amount of product I've ever used on a page! Yet I'm pleased with the results. How minimalist have you ever gone? Were you comfortable with it?
Beautiful 2 pager layout Sue... You rock... !!! Hugs...xoxo
ReplyDeleteSometimes simplier is better. Love the page.
ReplyDeletelove the clean look!
ReplyDeleteYou can certainly make a simple look shine.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love simple pages, but I find them so difficult to do personally. I think I just like playing with glue too much
Love the photo placement and simple design!
ReplyDeleteI like how the top and bottom borders frame the page. The photos really take center stage. It is a very striking layout. I can't seem to do minimalist unless it is a companion page that is filled with photos and there isn't any room for embellishment.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, the pics have plenty of color. Your placement is perfect and just the right embellishments
ReplyDeletethe layout is great, i like all the different size photos and they way it's laid out.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the two pager! I tend to use less embellishments when I create two pagers.
ReplyDeleteGreat 2 pager! I couldn't agree more - there is plenty of color in the photos and you struck a great balance. I love the pops of red and the borders of pattern paper across the top and bottom. Love this! :)
ReplyDeleteSuper DLO - really love the mix of titles, sub-titles, journalling and potrait & landscape photos ... oh and the papers and the stars ... well EVERYthing really!
ReplyDeleteWell Sue, I think it is wonderful! I love the minimist look. Wish I could do it more.
ReplyDeleteLove this-it looks great, I love the placement of the buttons on the zig zag border.
ReplyDeleteIt looks awesome Sue!! I think there is just enough to go along with the photos and I love the sketch arrangement you used. I have "tried" to go minimalist before, but then I just keep adding stuff to it, once I'm done with it!! :)
ReplyDeletesuch a great double!!! love it!
ReplyDeleteI think its lovely and clean. Great colours too. Was the Sketches for Scrapbooking a book or a magazine or a website?
ReplyDeleteI think this works great. I like how you didn't use much product, but it's still totally your style.
