Incorporating Maps

A recent article over at Get It Scrapped! covered ideas for scrapbooking road trips. For my contribution, I chose to trace the route on a map. Our Spring Break vacation was one big road trip, covering 1600 miles and 26 hours, 39 minute of travel time in the car. Whew! I printed a map from MapQuest highlighting our route and used brads to pinpoint each destination. The six smaller photos represent our stops.

I’ll use this page to introduce the trip in my travel album and follow it up with layouts about each place we visited. Most of the products are from Jillibean Soup. You can read the rest of the road trip article here. There's some great inspiration, so I hope you go check it out!

  6. Sounds like it is going to be a fabulous album.
I love your idea for using this layout as an intro and then doing pages for each section. I am doing something like that for my mother-in-law's Ireland album.

Love how you added the map and highlighted your path :)
