Older photos like these can be a challenge. The colors may be faded and the subject very small. Memories are nearly impossible to recall, so by necessity the journaling is short and of a more general nature. But they are the only pictures available and deserve a place in my scrapbook!
Whether you have photos of your baby, grandbaby, nephew, niece, a good friend's child, or even yourself or your spouse, this article will give you nine great ideas for getting those baby photos onto a scrapbook page. Why not check it out?
Next week is the last week of summer before I return to my piano teaching schedule. We plan to pack in lots of outdoor fun, so I'm taking a blog break to enjoy these activities. I'll be back on Labor Day with the Simple Scrapper September Blog Hop! Hope you'll stop back then!
I love it! The colours go so well and they hit the spot with me because I don't normally like baby pages.
ReplyDeletejust wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLove the way you've coped with small photos - our parents obviously didn't realise (have the right camera equipment so) that they could zoom in on the main subject properly! At least we can see the interior decor from this era - I wonder if my kids will see it in the photos that I take these days - all cropped and close up.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the interior decor and the backgrounds in old photos! I'm glad we didn't zoom in all those years ago and I still try to include plenty of background in important "recording" pictures like a birthday, so it really sets the scene.
ReplyDeleteYour product choices here are wonderful - they give such a flavour of the era
So wonderful and so timely. I've been working on my younger years with many of the same issues. Love how you cut out the circles from your background to nestle the embellishment and journaling. The color palette is perfect for the era.
