One of my favorite techniques for choosing two photos is contrast and comparison. I took pictures of the interiors of our cars and wrote about our driving habits. Placing my two landscape-oriented photos side-by-side forms a band across the page.

sleek and hi tech, six-cylinder / funky and retro, four-cylinder
cruise control he uses all the time / do I even have cruise control?
separate seat warmers for maximum comfort / separate seats are fairly comfy
digital clock and very computerized interior / analog clock that I love, interior not techy at all
hands free phone / what would I do with that?
gets him where he wants to go / gets me where I want to go

ReplyDeleteI love it when you do these comparison pages. Such fun! The black inking and letters really set this off. I'd show you a photo of the inside of my husband's truck but it might scare you. You'd wonder how many snakes were hiding in there.

ReplyDeleteI did a layout many years ago about how my husband and "his" dog were alike and how me & "my" dog were alike - it showed how different we all were, but so much the same too! :) GREAT JOB!!
