Take Twelve: May 2012

Since May 12th fell on a Saturday, the suggestion from Ella Publishing was to document the weekend for Take Twelve this month. Sounds good to me! My journaling reads:
"Weekends in May are usually busy. We plant our flowers and vegetables. My annual piano studio recital is always the third Sunday. Add that to chores and Sunday worship, and we have plenty to keep us busy in May!"
I chose spring colors from several Crate Paper collections and followed the photo strip design I've been using all along. You can view my other Take Twelve layouts under the Take Twelve in 2012 tab. It's right under the lilac bush!

Whether you are participating in Take Twelve or not, documenting the weekend is a great idea for a layout! Why not give it a try this Saturday and Sunday?

  5. That is a great idea for a layout! Love how your papers complement your photo strips. What a good idea for those little rounds sticker letters. I always have trouble with what to do with that kind of sticker.
