May Card Sketch...that I turned into a Layout

You can download and print this sketch over at the Sketch Support blog

I took the design elements of the card sketch (circles, strip of paper, stitching) and adapted them for this page about my parents enjoying their retirement years. Most of my supplies came from the Studio Calico March kits.
Drum roll, please: this is my first layout using washi tape! I know, I'm a little late to the game, but I usually need to see a product used several times in several ways before I will purchase it. This tape came with my Studio Calico kit, so I knew it would work with the other supplies in the kit. That made things easier.

If you use this sketch to create a card or layout, please consider adding it to the Sketch Support Flickr Gallery!

This month the Sketch Support Creative Team is joining in the fun with a cross promotion between Sketch Support and Nikki Sivils!  Each designer was given a Nikki Sivils collection of her choice. I chose the Messages collection.
I'm looking foward to everyone's projects based on Sketch Support's May sketches using Nikki's products. They will be posted every Friday.
