Two-Page Tuesday: Using Memorabilia

You can download and print this sketch over at the Sketch Support blog

Lots of paper, lots of photos. That's how Allison describes this sketch, and that's pretty much what I thought when I first saw it. And that made me happy.
A perfect showcase for more photos from our vacation to Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Most of my supplies came from the Studio Calico March main kit. My title work was inspired by this brochure.

The Amy Tan fabric flowers that came with the kit are totally adorable! Since I got a "D" in Home Ec sewing class (oh so many years ago), this is about the only way fabric will ever find its way onto my layouts....
If you use this sketch to create a layout, please consider adding it to the Sketch Support Flickr Gallery!

  2. You got a lot of photos on your layout! I love all the bright paper colors to complement the gray buildings. Arranging the title like the one on the brochure is a great way to incorporate memorabilia. Thanks for the ideas!

  15. Great layout - I like how you did the title work & took the inspiration from the brochure. (I tend to cut the brochure & use it as my title block, so I'll have to try this sometime when the brochure is the wrong color.)
