This sketch is taken from one of the new books, Sketches for Scrapbooking, One-Page Sketches, Volume 2. Here's my take.....
Yes, someone thought it would be a good idea to douse our pastors with water balloons at our annual Block Party! They were good sports about it all, but I doubt the event will be repeated...
This is also a "get to know the team" type of hop, so here's a little peek into what makes me tick as a scrapbooker.
How long have you been scrapbooking? I started scrapbooking in 1999. That seems like a long time ago now!
Why did you start scrapbooking? We had just returned from a fabulous trip to Israel and Egypt. I knew I wanted to do more than just slap photos in an album, so I went in search of ideas and ended up at a Creative Memories party. From there, I was completely hooked!
What is your favorite time of day to scrapbook? Anytime works for me! I usually scrap in the morning during the week, and afternoons and evenings on the weekend.
How often do you scrapbook? I scrapbook every day, but I include many activities in my definition of "scrapbooking." Downloading photos, writing blog posts, organizing projects and supplies all count in my book!
Where do you scrapbook/what does your space look like? I'm glad you asked! I have an area in our basement, which you can see here.
When I'm not scrapbooking you can find me...playing and teaching piano, spending time with family, reading, knitting, watching NCIS, spoiling my two cats, and traveling.
What is your favorite thing about using sketches? I love the versatility and solid design of the sketches. They are so much fun to adapt to whatever I want to scrap!
What is your favorite sketch from Sketch Support? That is a hard one! I think the 2-page sketches are my favorite. I rarely make a 2-page layout without referring to one of the sketches. One of my very favorites is this one.

As promised at the beginning of this post, I am giving away one copy of each of the newest books, Sketches for Scrapbooking, One-Page Sketches, Volume 2 and Sketches for Scrapbooking: Travel Sketches! The travel sketches are two-page sketches, easily adaptable to all types of pages, but especially handy for all those summer vacation photos. All you need to do is leave a comment, and I will randomly choose two winners on Tuesday, April 17th. You do not have to be a follower to win, but I would consider it an honor if you became a follower!
Now you can hop on over to Virginia's blog and continue the fun. Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteSue,
ReplyDeleteI like your bright colors against the dark background. I also like your small details too like the small stitches and the letters on the left side of the page. I'd assume to you used on of those sprays to make the background splatters. I have been wanting to try that, but nervous about the end product. I also like the title. I like to try to have the same beginning letters for my titles and am always looking for atypical and unusual words and "pelt" is a good one! :)
