Two-Page Tuesday: Sketch Class

I created these 2-page layouts recently while participating in the Sketch Support Class taught by Allison Davis for My Creative Classroom. The class lasted 5 weeks and covered Basic Approaches to sketches in Week 1, then addressed how to alter Photos, Paper, Embellishments, Titles and Journaling. The course concluded with the Finishing Touches that take layouts from good to great. Very comprehensive!
Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye; Lettering: Jillibean Soup, My Mind's Eye, Cosmos Cricket; Embellishments: My Mind's Eye

Supplies: Cardstock: American Crafts; Everything Else: Basic Grey Hopscotch
I enjoyed the class. Allison's insightful teaching and helpful comments on the message boards and class gallery were invaluable.  The course content included video presentations, PDF's to download, and weekly assignments. If you want to improve your skills at two-page layouts, or just want to be able to see more possibilities from any sketch, I would recommend this class. The next round of Sketch Support begins on September 20th. You can register for the class here.

  3. I love the dimension on these pages - for some reason two pagers always turn out very flat when I try them, but these are wonderful

  7. What great 2-pagers! My favorite is the first one. The overall layout flows so nicely and I love the colors and embellies! The BG paper in the second is so fun and perfect for the pictures! I'm in love with those BG bloomers lately, they're so fun to use and I can't get enough of them!

  14. These are fantastic. That's a really cool roof page - I don't think I have many photos from that perspective. It's very unique! :) I took that class awhile back, maybe last fall? I really enjoyed it too.
