What I Like: the photo collage - being a paper scrapper, I remember working hard to make all these photos fit correctly!
What I Don't Like: the lack of journaling - I know what the photos represent, but will anyone else if I'm not there to tell them? Bad move on my part!
For 2009, I saw an example - pretty sure it was on Cathy Zielske's blog - and used it to create this Year in Review layout.
What I Like: everything - the design, room to journal, the photo sizes
What I Don't Like: nothing - this one was a winner! So what did I do for 2010? Well, I say, if it isn't broken, don't fix it!
This is a great idea! What a nice way to sum up your year!
ReplyDeleteyour right if it is not broken dont fix it--love your layout! i have always wanted to do this--maybe i will try it for 2011
ReplyDeletegreat idea! you are doing a good job with the double page layouts!

ReplyDeleteGreat layouts. I have not done this before.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea!! What a great way to close an album for the year...love the layouts, you did a great job!!
ReplyDeleteSue, these look great. I totally agree that it's a wonderful feeling when your photo collage all fits so nicely! I did digital monthly overview pages for 2011, just got the last one printed. I still want to do a year in review page to go in my chronological album as the first page of 2011; I think it will be only one or two photos with lots of jounaling with my thoughts.
ReplyDeleteLooking good Sue! I really enjoyed the different pages in this post and your thoughts about them
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea- and the last few layouts are perfect for the idea that you wanted to create great job. Years ago(were talking at least 10)I use to take all my doubles of pics and cut them up and collage them for each child and put them into a frame for that year. I still treasure these photo frames and now I'm starting to give them to each child for Christmas gifts. What great memories!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea !!!! Fab LO's and such wonderful memories.
