December Challenge

Today is the December Challenge reveal over at Scrapbookers Anonymous. This month the challenge is to use up some rub-ons, along with cardstock and embellishments. No patterned paper allowed! Here is my contribution as a member of the Design Team.

I'm pleased to have such a colorful layout without a scrap of patterned paper in sight! First, I used my rub-ons to create an L-shaped border and decorated that with embellishments from Basic Grey's Pyrus line.

I used my circle cutter, cardstock and rub-ons to create a simple title. This is one of those pages where I think the photos tell the whole story. The church kids couldn't believe it when the fire truck and firemen showed up to our Harvest Festival block party!

I hope you'll consider giving this challenge a try. You have until the end of the month and there is a great prize! You can see what the rest of the design team came up with here.

  12. I am definitely going to give this a try. I really want to scrap some prior year's Christmas photos this month as I am so in the Christmas spirit. I have some old holiday rubons and will be digging those out for this challenge. I really like the way you used your rubons to create a border.
