What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday

I've been lurking on Julia's blog for a bit now and finally decided to join in the fun! The concept is simple: every Wednesday, over one hundred crafters show and tell what's going on in their craft rooms. Be forewarned: this can become highly addictive!

I have a nice L-shaped work area, if only I could keep so much stuff from accumulating on it! (I know, I say that like the stuff piles up overnight all by itself)
I'm still loving my Basic Grey Pyrus, so it's staying out for now, along with a few pages I tore out of the last issue of Creating Keepsakes for design inspiration.
Last weekend I made a pilgrimage to Archiver's and my LSS, Scrappy Chic. Here's the newest additions to my stash, waiting to be organized into my space. I'll feature a few of the highlights on Friday, when I do my weekly picks.
Finally, I do have some layouts in progress. So far I've cropped photos for a 2-page spread and a 1-pager and laid them out on a white background. I like to start this way to minimize distractions. Next I think I'll choose paper, hopefully later today.

What's on your workdesk today?

  10. Hey there! Welcome along, there's only so long you can resist putting your own desk up to be snooped at isn't there?!

That Pyrus range is lovely, you might like to see this card that Kristina Werner made with it last week: http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/?p=4343

I see you have the WRMK Sew Easy. I bought it when QVC in the UK had it a month or so ago, I was really excited until it arrived and I found it just marks the paper rather than piercing it. Reluctantly I sent it back :-(

Great pictures of your desk & your new goodies, thanks for sharing with us snoopers!

  11. Thanks for visiting my place already. I love your desk! I think it's a perfect set-up to create scrapbook pages and other great things. I'm so happy I don't have a LSS or place like Archivers nearby. I'd really go broke! You've got some fun stuff there!

  16. Oh, so fun to get to see your desk. Looks like you are an organized scrapper. I see your Bazzill floss there, I like adding those handstitched accents to pages, using their templates. I'd be interested to hear how you like those Sew Easy piercers, I just recently saw those. I, for 1, am glad I got you into this!!

  19. Your desk is so large and nice and tidy! It is such a good thing I live over an hour's drive to go shopping anywhere or else I would buy too much paper. I would love to get the BG Pyrus, but I settled with Curio, which sadly still sits neglected until I have more time.

  34. Hi Sue: To answer your question I have the beginnings of a wedding mini book on my desk. So far only 2 pages but I have until the 10th to get it done.

  35. I'm positive that stuff does indeed pile up by itself overnight. How else would my husband have two pairs of dirty socks lying on the floor every day?

  36. It's bad enough that I am running nearly a week late, then I have been plagued with that pesky 503 error all night. Just wanted to drop in and welcome you rather belatedly to WOYWW. Hope you join us again this week (in a few hours, in fact). Thanks for sharing your desk with us. I will be back for a better look tomorrow. I was # 5.
