Back to Work

Here in Michigan, the kids don't go back to school until after Labor Day, which means today I also go back to work teaching after school piano lessons. I've really enjoyed my summer freedom. But I also love fall, football season, and a routine. So it's all good. Besides, working during the week makes looking forward to the weekend even sweeter!
p.s. I really am going to add photos to these pages pretty soon. I'm leaning towards the sepia.

This post is part of a series while I focus on learning something new every day in September.

  1. Hi Sue. I agree on the routine, but there is something to be said for getting up when you feel like it and having no responsibilities.. =) working makes me appreciate my free time that much more.

  2. Still loving your mini album. You teach piano lessons. I took them for a short time when I was young and it's one of the major things I regret not sticking with. I had so many extra curricular activities going on at the same time, and my teacher had a very thick accent so it was hard to understand her, so I gave it up. I admire anyone that can play the piano.

  4. I totally agree about the morning exercise getting pushed to the side if not done right away! It's afternoon here and I'm trying to talk myself into doing my exercise now! :>(

  6. Your mini is so awesome. I love summer vacation but there is something to be said about routine.

  7. Love it!! I was afraid if I kept all my page to an obvious patter that they'd be boring. But I'm loving yours and they are so full of life! The colors and patters are great. You've made a simple, repeated design look fantastic. Thanks for showing me that I'm on the right path.

  8. We went back to school after Labor Day in California, but now that I am in Arizona my son goes back at the end of July. It just isn't right.

Enjoy getting back into the swing of of things.
